How can I book and pay for my course?2019-05-24T09:48:27+00:00

Bookings can be made over the phone by calling our Head Office on 01942 876330.  Our offices are open Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 4.30pm

Alternatively, you can book one of our courses via our contact form. Once booked we will email you a full confirmation letter outlining all information for your course along with your full course guide.

Not sure which date is best for you? Secure your place with a deposit and add the training date later. Please note all bookings can be put on hold for a period of 6 months. After this time any fees paid will be non refundable.

Can I book courses during the weekend/last minute courses?2018-10-09T19:48:33+00:00

To book a course outside of office hours, please use our contact form. For Last Minute Offer bookings outside office hour’s, please leave a message clearly giving your name, telephone number and the course/training centre you wish to book. Can I cancel or transfer my course?2019-05-24T10:22:44+00:00

All course fees/deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable this includes any voucher payments once your course place has been reserved.

However, in the event of a genuine medical reason for non-attendance a new course date will be offered. Written proof of this must be supplied in the form of a statutory fitness for work form/certificate from your GP, a hospital appointment card or hospital discharge papers covering the course date will be required. A doctors note or letter is not acceptable. A request for transfer must be received in writing no later than 2 days after your course date. A transfer fee of £35 per training date will apply to reschedule your course. Please note all bookings can be put on hold for a period of 6 months. After this time any fees paid will be non refundable.

A transfer of course date due to childcare problems, child illness, holidays, extreme weather conditions or traffic incidents will not be accepted.

No. Course prices include VAT, accreditation fee and the use of all products and equipment during your training ( With the exception of the single lash course on which students are required to attend with a set of strip lashes to be used in their training. Also if attending the electric file course students are required to attend with a brush and products they use for acrylic or hard gel application). Starter kits can be purchased at the end of the course to enable you to start work immediately.

We only take 4 – 10 students per class. Naturally courses do get booked up quickly so early booking is advisable.

What if I have difficulties finding the training centre on the day?2019-01-16T14:19:43+00:00

Don’t worry if you have any difficulties in finding the training centre, please refer to Map & Directions to our training centres on our venues page.

If you are still struggling, please call us as soon as possible on 01942 876330 for help and one of our team will direct you in.

If you are going to run late for your training, please let us know before 10.00am. Anyone later than 10.15 can not be admitted in to the training salon.

What happens if I’m the only person booked on to this course?2018-10-09T19:43:15+00:00

If you are the only person booked on your course it may be cancelled and we will offer you an alternative date or venue or you may be asked to attend with a model.

What if Beauty To You cancel my course?2018-10-09T19:41:42+00:00

Beauty To You may have to cancel your course for reasons outside of our control, i.e. tutor sickness, flood or fire, power cuts or insufficient numbers of students. A new course date will be offered. Beauty To You can accept no responsibility for any accommodation/travelling costs students may incur due to the cancellation of courses.

Do I receive a recognised certificate?2018-10-09T16:18:31+00:00

Yes. All our courses are accredited by Towergate Health & Beauty and Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT). On successful completion of your exam and practical assessment you will be sent an Accredited Certificate which will enable you to gain industry insurance and work as a professional within the industry. Once your certificate has been issued no refund can be issued

Do I need to bring a model with me?
In most cases this is no unless stated in the course description, as students will work on each other.

If you are the only person booked on the course you may need to attend with a model but we will let you know if this is required.

Can I get trade membership cards following my training?2018-10-09T12:02:38+00:00

Many of our students gain trade membership cards with leading beauty wholesalers and cosmetic brands following completion of our training courses using the Beauty To You Accredited Certificate as proof of completion of their training. However we can accept no responsibility and have no control over individual student eligibility or ability to acquire these memberships. This is at the discretion of the supplier/wholesaler.

What if I have Special Training Needs / Requirements?2018-10-09T12:02:11+00:00

Where possible we seek to include students with special requirements within our main course delivery.  However for some students this may not be possible. Many students with special training needs prefer and gain the most benefit from tailored training on a one to one basis.

Feasibility depends upon the course you are wishing to study; however where possible adjustments or special arrangements will be considered. Please note an additional cost will apply for training on a one to one basis.

All students are required to give and receive treatments on training days. Any medical conditions which may prevent this should be disclosed in confidence at the time of booking. A female model must be provided by the student where medical conditions prevent receiving treatment.

Training days may involve mixed sex groups. Those with religious or personal reasons where they require a same sex training environment only should discuss this with the Advisor before booking. Male students are required to provide a female model for waxing courses.

If you are pregnant please inform us in advance.

Please refer to your course booking confirmation letter for your course start and finsh times as these can vary for each venue and course attending.

Late arrival is extremely disruptive to other students.  If you arrive late (in excess of 15 minutes) you will be unable to participate in the training as our practical demonstations will have started and cannot be repeated, resulting in a £50 transfer fee for a rescheduled date.  Please therefore ensure you allow sufficient time for travel.

What do I need to take with me on my Course?2018-10-09T11:52:17+00:00

For hygiene purposes, please bring along one clean hand towel and one clean bath towel for your personal use during the course apart from nail courses. If you are attending the Single/Russian Lash Courses you will be required to attend with a set of strip lashes to be used during your training or we do sell these on the day. For weekend courses in our Liverpool venue you will also be required to take your lunch with you as there will be no on site restaurant facilities in operation. You do not need to print and bring your course guide unless you wish to make notes on them on the day.

What do I need to wear on my training day?2018-10-09T11:50:04+00:00

If you have a professional beauty tunic this would be appropriate. Otherwise smart-casual, clean clothing should be worn. Please note no jeans or trainers. You should wear flat shoes with covered toes/heels. Please ensure you are suitably dressed to give and receive treatments.

Long hair should be tied back, away from the face. You should have clean, short nails which should be free of polish/nail extensions unless enhancements are required for the course material such as the electric filing course. You should be free of eyelash extensions for all courses where you will be working on the face. For hair removal (waxing), you must be willing to give and receive treatments on all areas covered. It is a requirement of the course that all students allow hair growth of 0.05cm in all areas to be treated (dependent on natural hair growth patterns). This is to ensure fairness to all students, to allow equal opportunity to practice.

Please ensure you leave all valuables at home, including any jewellery as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables at the training centre. You should not wear more than one wedding band and one pair of plain stud earrings.

When will I receive my certificate?2019-02-01T15:04:39+00:00

Following your training, we will email you your certificate within 21 days which allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients and work from home or mobile.  However most students receive their certificate within 7 days.

If you would like a printed copy of your certificate, you can either request one on the day or please contact us via our contact form detailing your name, course, venue and date you attended. There will be a small charge for this. The format is the same as your emailed certificate so you may prefer to print at home, however our printed certificate is on quality certificate paper with a gold stamped seal. If you do not receive your certificate you must report this to us within 3 months of attending your course. After this date you will be charged to obtain a copy certificate.
